Roofing Contractor Agreement

The Undersigned Roofing Contractor:

Agrees to install all roofing materials and accessories in a workmanship like manner following generally accepted roofing standards that meet the local City/County’s current IBC and IRC Building Code and their amendments as well as both current and legacy reports from ICC Evaluation Services, roofing manufacturer’s association installation manuals and specifications, whichever is more stringent as detailed in our roofkey Roofing Guidelines.
States that they meet all of the Roofing Contractor Requirements listed below.
Agrees to subject their roofing products and installations to independent inspections under our Roof Inspection Service, when purchased by the consumer.
Understands that when performing our Roof Inspection Service we make our observations and write corrections from spot checking many different areas of the roof. We do not check everything in all areas and that it is impossible to find all the mistakes that may have been made installing the roof. We do not guarantee that the roof installation will be free from future leaks or other problems or litigation. If there are problems that arise after the roof installation passes our inspection it is still the Roofing Contractors responsibility to correct them.
Agrees to make any and all corrections our Inspectors observe within specified time limits, which is generally no more than thirty (30) days.
Agrees to pay any and all of our RE-inspection Fees as defined on our web page Roof Inspection Service Fee.
Understands that being on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page does not mean RE/COR Inc. and www.roofkey.com endorses your company but simply means that your company has met our Roofing Contractor Requirements and has signed our Roofing Contractor Agreement.
Understands that should the Roofing Contractor fail to resolve and make good any corrections observed by our Inspectors or violate any of our Roofing Contractor Requirements or any of the conditions or terms of our Roofing Contractor Agreement or for any other reason RE/COR Inc. deems valid to shelter Property Owners from possible problems and hassles, their Contractor's name may be suspended or removed from our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page.
Understands that RE/COR Inc. or www.roofkey.com does not guarantee the business ethics or workmanship for the installation of roofing materials and accessories by any of the Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors listed.
Understands that, in the future, the terms and conditions of this agreement and/or the requirements listed below may change at RE/COR Inc.'s sole discretion. The Roofing Contractor will be notified via e-mail of the changes and will have (30) thirty days to resign the new agreement. If electing not to sign within (30) thirty days of notification of the change to this agreement, the Roofing Contractor's name will be removed from our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page.

Roofing Contractor Requirements (RCR)

Below are the Roofing Contractor Requirements (RCR) for Roofing Contractors to be listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page.

Roofing Contractors:

Must share our commitment of improving the use and installation of roofing materials and accessories with the Property Owners best interest in mind.
Must have been in business as a Roofing Contractor installing roofing materials for a minimum of (1) one year prior to applying to have their company's name listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page. Acceptable proof of that will require the verification of a current City/County Building License for roofing and the date issued.
Must state that the Ownership and/or Operations Management has not changed hands for a minimum of six (6) months prior to applying. Any significant changes in ownership and/or management will require the reapplication and signing of our Roofing Contractor Agreement.
Must have had at least a minimum of (1) one roofing installation Pass both our Mid-Roof Inspection and our Final Roof Inspection within (30) thirty days prior to being listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page.
Must have at least a minimum of (1) one roofing installation Pass both our Mid-Roof Inspection and our Final Roof Inspection every calendar quarter to continue to be listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page.
Must carry at all times General Liability and Completed Operations Insurance with a minimum of $2,000,000.00 in coverage. An Insurance Certificate with a 10 Day Cancellation Clause Notification must be on file with our company. If using Subcontractors, the Roofing Contractor must provide Proof of Insurance Coverage for each Subcontractor.
Must carry at all times Automobile Liability Insurance with minimal coverage required by the state of Colorado. An Insurance Certificate with a 10 Day Cancellation Clause Notification must be on file with our company. If using Subcontractors, the Roofing Contractor must provide Proof of Insurance Coverage for each Subcontractor.
Must carry at all times Workers’ Compensation Insurance with minimal coverage required by the state of Colorado. An Insurance Certificate with a 10 Day Cancellation Clause Notification must be on file with our company. If using Subcontractors, the Roofing Contractor must provide Proof of Insurance Coverage for each Subcontractor.
Must be in good standing with the local Better Business Bureau and remain that way.
Must not have any outstanding correction notices from any City/County Building Department that are more than 30 days old.
Must not currently be in any litigation or become involved with any litigation where the Roofing Contractor's work has been called into question without informing RE/COR Inc. of the details for review to decide the status of being listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractor web page.
Must provide RE/COR Inc. with details and outcome about any past litigation where the Roofing Contractor's work was called into question for review to decide the status of being listed on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractor web page.
Must obtain a Building Permit from the local City/County Building Department where required for all roof installations.
Must install roofs adhering to the high standards as detailed in our roofkey Roofing Guidelines.
Must sign and agree to the terms and conditions of our Roofing Contractor Agreement.

Also, provide us with information that will satisfy the requirements listed in the above Roofing Contractors Requirements 2, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 via e-mail with attachments or via regular postal service.

After your submitted information is verified, your company's name will appear on our Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors web page if you have met all the requirements listed above.
